John found himself at the age of 20 alone in the woods looking down at his first whitetail. The beginning of a life long pursuit was soon all over his hands. His instinct of what to do next became his guide and led him down what has been an incredible journey. With the utmost respect for the pray he pursues and the insights he has gathered, John has learned the greatest gift of all has come from the shared and sacred moments deep in our woods.

Most of Will’s best childhood memories revolve around hunting and fishing. Growing up in Maine offered him millions of acres at his fingertips to explore and craft a deep connection with the outdoors. Moving into adulthood Will knew he wanted to pursue a career in the field so he took up video production. For 12 years Will has traveled the world documenting and pursuing wildlife of all forms and in all environments. Through that time spent traveling and immersing himself in new landscapes his connection to Maine has only grown and time spent here is more appreciated than ever. Will looks forward to continuing the pursuit and sharing his knowledge and experiences with others.

In the summer of 2020 with no prior hunting experience, Nik signed on to capture HuntingME’s “Deadman Bear” project. After spending a week in the woods with the crew Nik became hooked on the idea of living a more sustainable and natural life. After two years of filming HuntingME, and with a strong urge to learn more about Mother Nature, Nik is beginning his journey of becoming a hunter.

Growing up in rural Maine provided Josh with endless opportunities to be among its wilderness. He quickly realized that even though his great grandfather was a well accomplished outdoorsman, it didn’t mean it would come naturally for him. But persistence drove Josh deeper and deeper into the timber and eventually found what he was searching for; his true passion. Maine has not only taught Josh how to hunt, but it has blessed him with the ability to appreciate life.

Partner to John Altman, and mother to their three children, Emma is the strong matriarch of HuntingME. Aside from helping run their farm David’s Folly Farm, Emma has also begun to take her own journey as a hunter.
